TN Professionals

The TN visa is available to qualified professional workers from Canada and Mexico under the NAFTA Treaty of 1994. TN-1 status usually requires the attainment of a Bachelor's Degree. However, an individual who maintains five years experience in Management Consulting may qualify for this visa. TN Visas are granted in three year increments. A list of the designated professions is listed in Appendix 1603.D1 of the NAFTA Treaty.
